Fancy making some pretty coasters?

Then why not join us this Saturday. There are a couple of spaces left on this workshop. Come and design your own set of coasters for yourself or as a nice gift.

Karen's recent 'Cards to Die for' workshop was a great success as always. Here are the beautiful cards she designed:

                                   

And if you missed the brayering workshop and really wish you had been able to come along to learn how to use that brayer you've had tucked away collecting dust, then here are the cards we made. We learnt how to create lovely backgrounds, how to mask and also replicate reflections. We will be running  similar workshops later in the year so just keep checking the list on our website.

         

Those of you visiting the shop will have seen Natalie's wonderful creations using the Craftwork Cards Collections. These packs are great value for money at just £9.99. This includes the paper pad containing 6 sheets of each paper design along with matching sentiments and elements. Some collections also contain card candy. Natalie has incorporated other products which all are available to purchase in the shop.

            
      


 The above were all made using the Correspondence collection which is due back in stock by this weekend when Natalie is running a workshop making three of her lovely cards. She is currently working with the Opulance collection which is very different and we are waiting for delivery of 'Flying High'. This is a bright, cheery collection with hot air balloons! ....Sounds interesting! Don't forget to check on the website for our current workshop list. February's will be on there shortly. We would like to wish you all a very Happy New Year.  Here in the barn we are all looking forward to a crafty 2014 offering you new & exciting workshops throughout the year.  We have lots of new collections here and cannot wait to start sampling with them -  paper collections from Kaisercraft, Graphic45 & Marion Smith. They are absolutely stunning so why not come along and take a look. We look forward to seeing you.

Christmas Greetings ...

With only a couple of days to go before Christmas we would like to wish our customers a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.  We are looking forward to 2014 and have some very exciting times ahead of us - keep posted for information. We have lots of workshops lined up for you starting on Saturday 4th January with Tool Shed 1 and a Demonstration Day on Sunday 5th January with Karen.  Please feel free to contact us with any questions or queries on 01206 211099.  We will be happy to hear from you.

Winner of the Bird House Competition Collects her Big Shot Prize

The winner of the Bird House Competition that has been running through December has been selected and visited the store to collect the Big Shot prize. Barbara Dean from Braintree was the fortunate winner and had to beat fierce competition to be selected, and as luck would have it she was not already a Big Shot owner

We had some great entries  but the judges thought that the Christmas theme and the originality of design was the final reason for the selection as the final winner.

Sneaky Peaks!

Just wanted to let you know there are still a couple of places available for the Notice Board workshop tomorrow (Thursday 5th Dec.). You will go home with a lovely board with a note book and calendar all designed so you can easily replace them when needed. Along with a little pocket for your receipts! A bit of painting and some lovely papers to play with. Here is a little teaser of the finished design.

Another workshop on Saturday-Making Christmas Crackers. Still some places on this one too and here is a very sneaky peak of the sort of thing you will be making. 

We are using the beautiful Graphic 45 Twelve Days of Christmas papers. I don't know how many we will get made during the workshop but everyone will go away with a template so you can do more at home.
