Make n Take

This Staurday 17th December we have a Make n Take with Karen you will be making a dear little christmas card using some products from Paper Artsy. You will learn how to use the scrummy little pots of Infusion powders that contain grains of walnut stain some Fresco paints and a christmas tree die from Marianne and a few more products too.

Great Cards from Sue's Workshop

Check out the great cards that were made on Sue's Thursday workshop.......

This 7'x7" card was made using Sizzix Bigs Star Die, Frantage Shabby Pink and a centiment from 

Lin Brown's ELB 11 stamp from Paper Artsy.

 

Another 7"x7" card made using Emma Godfrey's EEG 19 stamp from Paper Artsy and some pink glitter Card.

The last card is a 7"x7" white card using a Creative Expressions embossing folder Frosty Swirls,stamps from Stampers Anonymous Tim Holtz collection Reindeer Flight and Lin Brown's ELB11 from 

Paper Artsy.

The workshop runs from 10am to 3.30pm at £40 with a light lunch included. You will be deconstructing and then reconstructing a super book to keep all your special things in with you deciding if it has a Christmas theme or not.

Stamp and Die Exchange with Demonstrations Week End

Pop along to the store this week end and bring along your unwanted stamps or dies and we will try to sell them for you to get credit to spend in our store All you have to do is.....

1/ Pop your die or stamp into a clear bag with the price you would like and bring it along to the store but due to space the offer is limited to ten items per person. 

2/ We will give you a registration number to put on your label  you can telephone in advance if you wish 

3/ Add your items to the sales table and if sold you will get the full amount in credits to spend in the store.

4/ All unsold items must be collected within two weeks,

WE WILL HAVE DEMONSTRATIONS ALL WEEK END..........

Saturday Janet will be using stamps,paints and Infusions to show you ways to make great backgrounds for your products if you would like to find out how to use products such as Grunge Paste, stencils and Tim Holtz distress ink pads pop along and get a complimentary cup of tea or coffee. Sunday Natalie will be showing you how to make some special boxes for those special christmas gifts for friends and family. Saturday 3^rd and Sunday 4^th DEMO AND STAMP EXCHANGE Week End ........Free

Take this opportunity to pass on your unwanted stamps and dies. All you have to do is register with us to get a number , bag up the dies or stamps and we will display them for the week end and if sold you will get credits to spend in the store or on workshops so it is an ideal time to sort out your stash............ All day Saturday there will be demonstrations of Tim Holtz Distress Ink pads and Paper Artsy stamps, paints, stencils and more. On Sunday Natalie Arnold will be with us all day demonstrating box making with the Big Score from Crafters Companion using the new advanced CD. Sunday 11^th A Cover Up with Jo Firth-Young 10am to 3.30pm                 £40

This workshop is a copy of the workshop we ran in November and as this filled up instantly Jo agreed to do the workshop again in December. You choose the makeup of your book so you may like to repeat this workshop to make the book again but in a different format.

You will go home with a special book full of pages, pockets and tabs. Jo will show you how to decorate some of your pages too. Those of you on the reserve list from November will be offered a place before we release the rest.

Thursday 15^th Cards To Die For with Karen 10am to 1pm                           £20

Karen will be showing you how to make some special cards with new dies and products from the store. This is an ideal opportunity to learn some extra tips and ideas to use with your die cutting machine . This workshop is for all abilities and you do not have to own a die cutting machine it is a fun workshop.

Saturday 17^th Paper Artsy Make and Take Day 10am to 3.30pm              Free

Pop along to the store and check out new stamps and stencils from Paper Artsy and put your bottom on a chair to make a little project to take home using some of the paints and Infusions  from Paper Artsy. There is no need to book for this Make n Take.

We will close at 1pm on Christmas Eve and will  reopen on Thursday 29^th and Friday 30^th  December and close at 1pm New Years Eve  to reopen Tuesday 3^rd January from when normal opening times will be resumed.

Demo Day with Lauren Hatwell

Dont forget ladies we have the lovely Lauren Hatwell with us tomorrow. In the morning Lauren will be using some of the special designer stamps, paints,and masks from Paper Artsy to show you how she creates her funky cards and projects and will be demonstrating from 10am to 12.30pm then in the afternoon Lauren will be running a workshop where you can make cards, gift boxes or create a page for your journal with ideas from the mornings demo. The workshop will run from 1pm to 3.30pm at a cost of £20. Demo Day and Workshop with Lauren Hatwell.
