Paper Artsy New Stamps in Stock

Pop over to the shop as we have the new Paper Artsy stamps in store for you to take home. All the new designs from Lin Brown and Jofy and some Hot Picks too. Sorry there are no images for you at the moment as the new stamps will be show cased on the Paper Artsy blog from 7pm on Sunday with a new set of stamps each evening with lots of ideas from Leandra.

Dont forget Lin Brown will be with us on Sat 25th July to demo her new stamps and for a workshop on Sunday 26th if you would like to join us we have two spaces left at the moment.

Sharing Paper Artsy Play

Here is a little look at the frame we made on our monthly Paper Artsy play. The next play day will be Thursday 23rd July.

Is it a Flower or Is it a Mushroom

Check out his little creation made by Noella Blackler [member of our Art Doll club] who bought a vintage cotton reel from our store went home and came back with this little number made with some home made felt, stuffing and a little ribbon. How cute is this ? Well done Noella.

Cards For The Men In Your Life

Here are a few smples of cards that were made with men in mind .

This card was made from stamps from Indigo Blu and some lovely hanging lanters from Prima with papers from the Scrap Yard collection fromKaiserCraft.

Lin Browns stamps ELB 17 was used for this card on a 6" x 6" craft card with 1" cut of the bottom to create a 5" x  6" card and using Tim Holtz Distress Ink pads to paint the owls and create the background and with a little Glossy Accents to make the eyes pop!!!

We have used the little owl punch from Woodware for this one and some little branch swirls from Lin Browns ELB 17 stamp all put together with a brayered scrap created on our Paper Artsy playday onto a 4" x 4" craft card. A Greeting of you choice could be added to the front if you wish.

This card was made with a 6" x  6" craft card with the front trimmed from corner to corner and papers from the Scrap Yard collection were used for the clocks and background. We added some screw brads and small brads to finish.

Debbie's Journal Day

Thanks to Debbie Wainwright for a fantastic journal day we used sprays, paints, masks and stamps to create some super pages all with different colours I think we can all be proud of ourselves and look forward to the next journal day on 18th July......

Lin Brown Workshop

We are very lucky to have Lin Brown taking a workshop on Sunday 26th July making a delightful 3D reversed canvas hanging with her new stamps from Paper Artsy that will be released in the next couple of weeks. We have limited space so please get a wriggle on and book. Below is a sneak peek of what you will be creating.

Some lovely cards by Natalie

Natalie has also been busy making samples.

This one is made using the lovely lantern cards from Craftwork Cards and some papers from the Secret Garden collection of papers from Kaisercraft it has some pink silk ribbon and flowers made from our new E K Success punches.

This card was made using one of Natalie's designs and I think a Tim Holtz Tatty Floral die. If you want a closer look pop into the store.

This card has a lovely surprise inside and pops up too.

 

Samples by Ginny

Here are the samples made by Ginny yes you heard me right Ginny!!!!! perhaps I should go away more often if this is what happens.

This lovely card was made using a Indigo Blu stamp and some black embossing powder a strip of black and white ribbon. How special is this.

Now for something different from Ginny made with a Stampendous steampunk stamp  and an embossing folder from spellbinders with a little added Treasure Gold too.

Demo Day with Sue

If you missed the demo day yesterday with Sue here is a little clip of what was on offer using the duo butterfly die from Tim Holtz at Sizzix some Sizzix flower dies and a MDF frame we have in the shop for £4.25.

Back From Holidays

Just back from my holiday in France and my goodness what a lot of lovely samples the girls have made and I picked up two lovely glass bottles from a french flea market.

So watch this space to see what I do with them!!

Karen has been busy with samples and cards for her Cards To Die For Workshop so check them out below. The first card was made using Sheena's Perfect Partners Bramble stamps and dies and the Leaf Vein textures embossing folder from Crafters Companion all put together on a 8" x 8" craft card.

This one was made with Crafters Companion Chantilly Lace Stamping Frame die and Sizzix Tim Holtz butterfly die on a cream 6" x 6" cream card.

These cards were made using Sizzix Scribble die, Sizzix Brenda Walton Thinlits die for the borders, Maria`nne Collectables stamp and die combo and the Basket Weave Textures embossing folder from Crafters Companion and some wax paper!!!
